COMMITTED TO PROVIDING INFORMED CHOICE

Pinnaclear is committed to providing informed choice, but with such a range of hearing aid options, we understand that it can get confusing. Let us break down the differences in style, technical ability and functionality based on your individual needs.

Invisible-In-The-Canal

One of the smallest hearing aid options that sit inside the ear canal. Similar to the
in-the-canal and in-the-ear hearing aids, these are usually custom made.

Mini-Receiver-In-Canal

The smallest behind-the-ear hearing aid option with the receiver resting inside the
ear.

Open-Ear

A hearing aid that sits behind the ear which is then connected to a thin tube and dome
that sits inside the ear

Receiver-In-Canal

Similar to the behind-the-ear options but the receiver part of the hearing aid sits further inside
the ear, rather than in the hearing aid.

Receiver In Canal (P)

A power aid with the advantage of a receiver connection rather than an earmould
connection.

Behind-The-Ear

A hearing aid that sits behind the ear and is connected to a tube and then a
customised ear mould.

Behind-The-Ear (P)

A power hearing aid that sits behind the ear and is connected to a tube and then a
customised ear mould

A personalised hearing loss treatment plan can get you back on track and enjoying life to the fullest.
